Breathtaking! I love how the colors are naturally vivid. Not too much, not to little, but just right. Great work!

Absolutely love it. The overall symmetry and the positioning of everything lining up in the center is perfect. The sun shining down into the valleys way in the distance looks like... well, I don't even have words for it... but imagining how it would seem closer up, or standing in the middle, makes for a fantastic daydream.

Wow … this really questions my lens lust all this time! Not even that, the tools that you use with 329 RC4 head, again, question my self, whether I really need a panoramic head after all.
It’s really shows it’s the person behind the camera, not tools that create the photography and the vision.
I definitely envy your skills and photographic vision … in a good way.
I also envy the places that you can go to. In the mean while I am just stuck in my area (CBD), without being able to travel to various places, even locally – for a more nature type settings.

Just a quick question, I hope you don’t mind me asking. How can you take vertical frames by 329 RC4? Wouldn’t that make the lens not rotating in the middle of the tripod, i.e. on the side of it? Did I miss something here, in relation to the tripod head it self? Do you use an elbow bracket with that?

Again, I really really admire your works *I just find out today btw* I sure can learn a lot from them.
Thank you for putting the technical description on them too …

Appreciate it a lot.

That's right, lens doesn't rotating in the centre of tripod but in the circle few centimeters off. I can tell you it isn't the major problem, mostly the harder situation is with spherical distortion of 18mm (29mm on APS-C) lens. But still I am able to handle it in case of nature.

No one will recognise there's some grass blades missing as well as tree branches on the distant hills.

But I must say I already had to stitch panoramas inside the town. I mean directly in the streets with geometric mosaic on the ground. And architecture is allways full of lines which is extremely difficult to match in the corect way.
In such situation you have to change the perspective distortion of every part of the panorama afterwards in the PS. And find the best compromise.

----

I wish you chance to visit nature again. Australia is full of fantastic places which would be optimal for your aim. In every case I wish you good luck and good light upon your photos.

Robert

Owh, just another thing, how much post-processing that you’ve used? Did you use the dodge tools at all to darken the sky, or does it come from the GND Filter?

I cannot say this enough, but now I really gotta make use of that GND filters that I have on my 18-55 kit lens.
Really mate … thanks a lot. Your works really inspires me a lot! .. Big time … ten thumbsup for you …

You should spend your fortune on other lenses. Such as the canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 and the EF 24-70mm f/2.8 Those lens will give you super optics. And dont forget to buy a 5D :) :+fav:
